General Information About NanoTechnology Projects

Nano Technology Projects: Five nano-technology projects(Carbon Nanotubes, Photovoltaics, Nanoparticles, Electron Microscopy and Nano Fluids) supported by the department of mechanical engineering and department of computer science, are being designed to instruct high school and college freshman students about learning the basics of nano technologies and help them to use the new and expensive technologies in the software environment interactively. The simulations of the instruments are being designed by the computer science senior students and the experiments in the lab are done by the mechanical engineering and chemistry senior students in guidance of professors of the relevant departments. When the projects are finished, high school and freshman students will be able to learn how to use the scientific nano technology instruments in the software environment without worrying about how to access the devices. Students will be able to use the devices interactively from the internet
